12-12-12: The Concert For Sandy Relief (Thursday, Dec. 12, 7:30 pm, numerous channels)

Legendary musicians come together to perform live from the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York City to raise money for those affected by Hurricane Sandy. The list of performers includes Bon Jovi, Alicia Keys, Eric Clapton, Billy Joel, and The Who, among others.

 

Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer (Friday, Dec. 14, 8 pm, CBS)

The legendary stop motion animated film returns for another showing. First aired in 1964, the story of Rudolph has become world renowned and is continuously introduced to a new generation.

 

The Year With Katie Couric (Wednesday, Dec. 19, 9:30, ABC)

Well known journalist Katie Couric gives a review of the year of 2012. Every major event that occurred in the past 365 days will be discussed with guests and newsmakers among others.

 

Mankind: The Story of Us All (Tuesday, Dec. 18, 9pm, History Channel)

Mankind covers every historical event in human history over the course of two hour episodes each week. This may seem like a large task, but the History Channel does it in such an interesting and
insightful way that it grabs your attention with each episode.
