College plus work equals tired

College students already have it rough because of the fact that they attend college. Going to college means that you are devoting your time to learning, pursuing a meaningful education, and working to earn a degree. It may seem fun to some students, and it may seem hard to others.

We all have our own lives and problems. Some students could be going to college full-time or part-time. But at the same time, those students could also be working a full-time or part-time job.

Students that have a job are obviously working to earn money. They could be working to pay their own bills, pay for their own tuition, or just working to earn money to buy things to reward themselves for being hard workers. Going to school and work involves a lot of time, effort, and dedication. Having more than one priority is very tiring and drains a lot of energy. But like what everyone says,“Hard work pays off.”

As college students, we have the ability to choose our own classes and what times we have to attend said classes. Everything is totally up to us. We could choose to go to school in the morning and have the rest of the day to do anything we please. Or we could choose to have night classes so that we could work our jobs in the morning. Either way, having a schedule that is packed with hours of school and work is very tiring.

Money is time, and it is our duty to get as many hours we can to maximize the money we earn. So working a full-time job is great because we can be happy to see the numbers on our paychecks. But for someone that has to attend school at the same time it’s hard. We have to devote ourselves to attending every class to make sure we do not miss anything important, and do our homework to pass our classes.

Having to go to school and work are probably the two most important priorities for a college student. They would have to go to class, learn, make sure they did not miss anything important, catch up on homework and pass their class. Then they would have to go straight to work to keep their job, not get fired for not attending work, and have good performance to actually keep their job.

Students who work are hard working people, but it is very time consuming. At the end of the day, you could be so drained that you do not want to do anything but unwind. But there are days where you have to do your job and finish homework so you won’t fail the class and fall behind. Students who work are tired!
