Many deteriorations of our health are caused by our own disregard of the power within our own minds and the ability to heal our bodies. Motivation plays a paramount role in the process.
Once we have accepted that we need to change a habit, we need to start the healing process within us. The first step to move out of a bad habit and its subtle negative effects is to develop your own written plan and follow through with it. Scientific research has demonstrated that there is a direct relationship between motivation and the ability to heal.
Have you ever noticed that some Skyline students appear to live happier than others? Well, the secret could be within us if we want to improve. All we need to do is to pay attention to our attitudes toward others and especially to our own ability of harnessing the power of motivation!
Some Skyline students are better off due to the determination of not giving up. Other individuals are totally oblivious to the subtle damage they are doing to their mind and bodies. It could simply be something we do in order to conform to the group of people we are associated with, such as the habit of smoking.
There are some of us that are less likely to surpass our status, health, and financial situation unless we are consciously willing and aware that motivation is of paramount importance for better results in our endeavors to improve and change ourselves for the better.
For those of you out there that came across this article and are willing to try to do better, I encourage you to look into motivational books and other media available at your public library – it could be your gateway to free yourselves, and take off into higher levels of improved lifestyles, health, and entertainment.
Living a sedentary lifestyle can be very costly later on in our lives due to the inactivity. Our motivation of doing something just out of reach will improve ourselves and can be very rewarding, helping to live a happier life with those around us.
So, I highly recommend you get involved in your Skyline College, adopt a physical activity of your own level, enjoy the outdoors, and best wishes from your friend at “The Skyline View”!
