Monitoring our progress The evolution and modernization of many human aspects of our lives such as Political, Technological and the Business environments, has made it imperative to change our ways in order to be more efficient. For now, all of us while attending here at The Skyline College should focus on our primary concern: Succeed in our classes this fall 2008 -semester that will prepare us for a better future. We are very well aware that some habits definitely are harder to change specially after the summer. When we feel stressed-out and having some difficulty with any of our commitments, It is the best time for us to monitor our progress, evaluate ourselves and if necessary seek assistance, ask questions and remind ourselves by means of association with helpful classmates.
Achieve and complete if your situation requires special attention, do not hesitate to use all available resources at Skyline College to get you back on track. Unfortunately, due to all the media around us, we are constantly bombarded with distractions like the Internet, cell-phones and, Television just to name a few. We should spend more time using all of same technology into achieving and completing our educational goals. Define and write down which habits you need to change for your own good. Admit that you might need a support group, a friend or a relative to encourage you and, guide you towards the right path of success. Structure your time via an appointment book, calendar or, whatever works for you.
Reward Yourself! Do not forget the benefit of good night sleep and allow yourself time to relax during the day to think-out your priorities. It is crucial to feed ourselves not only with the right kind of food, but, just as important it is to recognize ourselves for all the achievements completed by rewarding ourselves with a special token of acknowledgement. Good luck on your endeavor at Skyline College and best wishes from your friend at “The Skyline View”.
