May 4 Vs. De Anza 1-6With the loss, Skyline’s chances of seeing the post-season faded.
The baseball team ended their season just short of the playoffs, missing the post season by only one game. This is the second season in a row that the team needed one more win to make the playoffs.
Their 23-19 record overall placed them in second place, tied with Cañada College. Their conference record was 14-11.
This season is the third season in a row the team has won at least 20 games.
BADMINTON
April 27 Vs. Fresno CityCollege 15-6
This was the team’s last regular seaon match before the Coast Conference Championships.
Jennifer Wong, the #1 singles player, won both of her matches bringing her overall season record to 6-6.
Wai Tan Tam, #3 singles player, also swept her matches leaving her with a 4-4 record.
Kristi Wong was victories in both her matches as well, giving her a season record of 9-3.
Tiffany Lau split her matches of the day resulting in an overall season record of 4-2.
