I feel that smoking should not exist at all in the world. It’s an addictive drug that only gives more and more money to tobacco companies. I know, however, this may never happen. People don’t see the money that they are wasting because they may feel the need to smoke to release stress and stuff.
I think that smoking should not exist on or near a campus. When I go to school I have to walk in a sea of smoke in the air. The smell of smoke is disgusting and some people act like they don’t care at all. Some smokers blow smoke in your face like it’s nothing.
Well it does affect people and it pollutes the environment too. I often get sick with asthma, and smoke in the air is not going to make me feel better. In addition, second hand smoking is known to be even more dangerous than first hand.
Because I read The Skyline View, I felt that I should make my voice heard and encourage the banning of cigarettes because they are a drug.
Maybe smokers need to be reminded of the affect it causes on others. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not against smokers. I do think, however, that some should have a little more consideration about the world around them.
