The badminton team had to compete with the other teams in their conference to qualify for the state finals. In each conference, eight singles players and six doubles teams qualify to compete in the championships.
Last season, Skyline went to the finals as Northern California’s champions for the second year in a row, and lost for the second time consecutively to defending state champions Irvine Valley College.
Skyline did have a men’s badminton club team this year as well. The club team does not compete in the state championships.
