Artist: Danity KaneSong: Bad Girl [4:01, 2008] Sounds like: space-age hip hop
Danity Kane’s success has blown through the roof with their iridescent personalities and up-tempo hip hop tracks on their first two albums. The song “Bad Girl” from their second CD, “Welcome to the Dollhouse,” carries high-energy techno-based beat with words empowering women to go out and entice every man in the room with her sex appeal. If you’ve been watching this season’s Making the Band 4, you know that the crazy and almost un-detainable spirits of the members of the band come out in their full-ranged voices. This song is definitely going to be a club hit and will be playing on the radio in no time.

Artist: Day26Song: Got me going [ 3: 24, 2008]Sounds Like: Bringing Sexy back to R&B
After three grueling seasons of P.Diddy’s making the band we’ve finally been blessed with a soulful and unique sound which many can relate too. Day 26 brings to the R&B world what fans of the genre have been truly missing. Their new single “Got me going” revolves around; pure infatuation and the dying need to tell all. With the release of their self- entitled debut album this band is clearly on the high rise to success.

Artist: LudoSong: Love Me Dead [3:39, 2007]Sounds Like: Love and hate
Upon hearing this, a friend of mine says that this song sounds like My Chemical Romance. I personally was reminded of Queen, but do either of these things make the song bad? Hell no I think! The song has incredibly interesting lyrics combined with a very theatrical feel making you think you’re watching an actor run around on stage switching constantly between love and hate. Lyrics such as “Love me cancerously” epitomize the feeling of true anguish in this song. It’s also a song that’s pretty fun to try to sing along to, all of the lows and highs in the song make it a vocal blast.
