In our ever conquest and the attempt to understand the world we live in, we must learn to accept the differences existing at any given moment with an open mind. What one person thinks of you today, another one might have a different concept of you at the same time. For example, my 16 year old daughter might see me as a “Jail Keeper” now a days because of all the restrictions I am continuously imposing her. My 23 year old son sees me as an essential part of his success in achieving his career today and grateful for the guidance I provided to him. In another example, my wife might see me like a “Money Cow” since I am the primary provider.Your point of view to my articles are totally acceptable to your time and age today and if you were to read it again in 10 years from now you might give me a different feedback or at least some feedback. In a famous quote by an unnamed author, says that “Nothing is more constant than Changes”. Sounds like a contradiction, but that is true. We are in constant change, some changes are so mild that are hard to notice. The value of a day in our life-time could change from; “Who’s is going to play with me today” to; “What assets and liabilities will I have to deal with today.” In our world, it is crucial to understand the culture, values, and religious beliefs otherwise something innocently like naming a Teddy Bear could put our life at risk in some locations of our world. It is wise to learn about the country you are planning to visit and the people living there. Better yet if you are traveling thru the United States some of areas could be well known for the famous Historical-Landmarks, others by the concentration of certain religious beliefs as well. This country is formed with many immigrants that were able to keep their culture traditions and special events throughout the year. One thing that was difficult for me to enforce in my own family is the Spanish language. I insisted on speaking to my kids in Spanish but all their homework and books they had to study from were in English. So I decided instead of me forcing them to learn Spanish, I should improve my knowledge of the English Language with the help of my own kids. From natural judgment to imprinted culture, generations ahead of us will continue to have a balanced world of differences. When there is a lack of respect for one another, arguments will arise just like world wars in a global scale.
