Iron man : Cast and Plot finally revealed
After years of speculation and rumors, the real cast and plot have finally been revealed for Marvel’s latest superhero to hit the big screen, Iron Man. Production started late because of the lack of technology five years ago when the idea was brought up to create the movie.
Director John Favreau, has set the movie due date for 2008. Picking the cast was a hard decision to make, especially when rumors were flying around that there was thought of Tom Cruz playing Tony Stark (Iron Man).
Talented actor Robert Downy Jr. plays Tony Stark/ Iron Man, along with a great supporting cast, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeff Bridges and Terrance Howard (Hustle & Flow) who plays Jim Rhodes/War Machine, Iron Man’s ally. Mandarin, Iron Man’s arch nemesis, will be played by Shaun Toub.
The movie starts by showing just how billionaire Tony Stark, becomes Iron Man. After a life threatening incident with his failing heart, he creates a machine that supports his life and he later decides to use his technology to fight evil.
This movie should turn out well, it’s always a risk in terms of a movie’s success, but what we do know for sure is that the red and yellow armored super hero will be launching at a theater near you 2008.
Silver Surfer surfs into the big screen this summer!
When Fantastic 4 hit theaters in 2005, a lot of hype was brought and what almost became a disappointment, was still good enough to make a sequel: “Rise of the Silver Surfer” set for June 2007.
All characters remain the same with Ioan Gruffudd (Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic), Jessica Alba (Sue Storm/Invisible Woman), Chris Evans (Johnny Storm/Human Torch), Michael Chiklis (Ben Grimm, The Thing) Julian McMahon (Dr. Doom) and introducing Doug Jones as the invincible Silver Surfer.
The storyline continues as the Fantastic 4 continue their normal superhero lives after the death of Dr. Doom. Reed Richards and Sue Storm are getting ready to get married when a strange character in the sky abruptly distracts the wedding. With the feeling of disturbance, the Fantastic 4 decide to regroup, only to find that a new enemy by the name of Silver Surfer has risen, and that they must save the world, once again.
Throughout the Marvel Comic Series, the Silver Surfer is known to be the strongest character ever created, with powers from cosmic energy. He has a silvery appearance from head to toe, and the one thing that all fans recognize him for, is his silver surfboard used to roam any where, sky or land.
With this sequel, and the buzz around the awesome Silver Surfer, this should save the franchise for its movies to come.
