On Oct. 3, the Trojans, who are currently ranked #6 in the nation among all junior colleges, played an intense game against DeAnza, resulting in a 3-1 triumph. The man of the game was forward Wallid Saad, who scored all three of the Trojans’ goals. “We played against a good team, and even though we didn’t play our best by far, we still got the victory,” said Daniel Rodriguez, one of the captains and midfielder for the team.”We played a difficult team. They [De Anza] were one of the most physical teams in the league,” said Gus Lopez, sophomore defender. “We played an alright game; we haven’t played to our fullest potential yet. This is one of our best teams that we’ve had in a while. We hope to keep our undefeated streak.”
