As of March 9, the new vice president of student resources at Skyline College is Judith Redwine.
The purpose of the position is to insure that Skyline College provides support to students and faculty that best serve their needs in counseling, admissions and records, financial aid, student activities, and security departments.
Redwine has had a wide range of experience. She served as chancellor for the State Center Community College District in central California. The chancellor is essentially the person to whom the president of a college reports.
Of the group of people considered for this position, President of Skyline College Victoria Morrow is confident she made a wise choice with Redwine.
“I’m real confident she’ll do a good job,” Morrow said. “She’s a very experienced community college administrator in this state and several others. She spent last year in this very same role [at] Columbia College, and everyone: students, faculty, and staff were all very happy with the work she did.”
Judith Redwine started her first day at Skyline College on March 9, when she also met with her colleagues for the first time.
