The Skyline men’s soccer team heads into the season with clear goals in mind.
“State,” said left back Reuben Wartens. “We want to go all the way.”
But before that can happen, the team still has some things to work on.
“We’re trying to concentrate on being a team,” said Danny Link, men’s soccer head coach.
The team finished last season with a record of 7-12-2 overall, 5-12-2 in division competition. They ended the season 5th in the Coast (South Division) Conference.
“It’s always nice to have a fresh start,” Link said. “We’re hoping to build off of last year and develop players to 4-year schools.”
But the Trojans realize that the season is approaching rapidly.
“We’re still getting kinks out,” Wartens said. “We’ll be ready by the start of the season.”
