WebSMART to Avoid Lines
Lines are everywhere in Skyline–from the parking lots to the bookstore, the cafeteria to counselors’s office? One can rarely go anywhere on campus without waiting in one line or another. The WebSMART website helps eliminate much of the waiting time. By simply logging on to www.websmart.smccd.net you will be able to:
* View class schedules
* Register, add or drop classes
* Check grades from previous semesters
* View and print unofficial transcripts
* Pay your tuition and all the health and student fees
* Check placement scores
* Check status of financial aid
Along with the extensive list of features the site has to offer, there are numerous links to help you apply for financial aid, college catalog, and view district and college websites. Those who are not enrolled can even apply online.
WebSMART is available at websmart.smccd.net from Monday through Sunday – 6 a.m. to Midnight.

Some people are more comfortable having one on one interaction or are just uncomfortable with telephones and computers. For those, there is the Student Service Center located on the second floor of building 2.
Intended to be the one stop center for all students, you will be able to find Admissions and Records, Cashier, Counseling, DSPS , EOPS, Evening Office, Financial Aid, Health Center, International Student Office and the Transfer/Career Center within.

The Counseling Center is located in the Student Service Center. Appointments can be made at the information counter or by calling (650) 738 – 4317.

Campus Security
Campus security is on hand to provide a safe environment for students, employees and visitors. To report any criminal acts or suspicious activities, either go to building 2, room 2319 or call them at (650) 738 – 4199.
Escort service is also available for students, faculty and staff to their cars or the bus stop. To request an escort, contact them to schedule one.
Parking
Parking spaces are valuable commodities around Skyline. It seems there are too many cars and not enough spaces to go around at certain times on the campus. Parking will be strictly enforced on Jan. 27 after the second week of the semester. All students who wishes to utilize campus parking spaces must purchase a parking permit and may park in lots 2, 4, 5, 8, 9 and part of lot 6. Parking permits are $30 and can be purchased when you register for classes on the SMART or WebSMART systems, or in person at the Cashier’s Office in Building 2. Once paid for, you can obtain the permit from the Cashier’s Office or Security Office.
$1 daily parking permits are available from permit dispensers located in parking lot 3, 5 and 8. Dispensers only accept quarters.
Evening students are allowed to park in any student lots and staff lot 8.
Physically disabled students must have a state-issued DMV placard and are allowed to park in designated disabled spaces in student or staff lots. They must however register with Disabled Students Program & Services and obtain a Skyline College Disabled Parking Permit. The Skyline Disabled Parking Permit are not valid on CSM or Canada Campuses, except as non-disabled student parking.
Temporary parking has been set up on the former Pacific Heights Middle School playground next to the Child Care Center and next to the soccer field.
For those who are strapped of cash or just can’t find a space, parking lot 4, located by the tracks, usually has open spaces and does not require a permit. So, students can save $30 and get in shape.
