As Skyline College settles in from a well-deserved summer vacation, “gleeks” everywhere await the season 5 premiere of Glee which is set to premiere on Sept. 26, 2013.

This year the season’s first three episodes will somehow revolve around the sudden and tragic death of Cory Monteith. Cory Monteith played “Finn Hudson” on the well-acclaimed musical comedy.

As for the progression of the show, the creators decided to introduce two new characters, Demi Lovato as “Dani” and Adam Lambert is set to join the cast as Kurt’s nemesis (played by actor Chris Colfer). The addition of these two very talented singers/actors has gleeks divided.

Some fans think that the show is going down the drain after the recent news. Adam Lambert will add a fiery and explosive personality to the show that will have gleeks on the edge of their seats when he tries to break down Kurt.

Glee fans have made some suggestions about why they are not excited about the guest appearance of Demi Lovato, some say that her acting can sometimes be over-thetop.

Some suggest that her stint in her hit Disney show “Sonny with a Chance” will be repeated in this role. Her guest appearance on the ABC drama, “Grey’s Anatomy,“ was a stellar performance and if she brings that passion and acting to this show, she will be a hit. Only time will tell if she is a hit or a miss. Remember to tune in on Sept. 26 to see what’s in store for Glee fans this season!
