The Skyline View

Joy Marcus

My writing experience: I’ve always loved words, playing with them and using them to evoke thought, feeling, action. When I was in eighth grade, I worked on my school paper. I had a column, “Memos by Marcus.” I am a published poet. I have also published various types of prose: for non-profits; for “underground” news papers, community papers, more. Wrote the script for a recent video magazine piece at College of San Mateo.

Working on the Skyline View is a requirement for my journalism degree. But even if I were going for another major, I’d probably want to work on the paper - just for the fun of it.
