The Latino Heritage month celebration for Dia de la Raza at Skyline was on Oct. 12, 2011. The panel was made of history professor John Ulloa, linguistics professor Luciana Castro, and Directer Andres Connell of Casa La Raza at Palo Alto. The panel talked about the history of education, the statistics of Latinos in prison, and Latin culture and language from a personal aspects and the importance of networking to ensure success and connect with other people.
