Skyline College was treated to a performance by visiting Aztec dancers in honor of Latino Heritage month. The dancers performed in the quad on Wednesday, Oct. 12 to celebrate Día de la Raza, or “day of the race.” Día de la Raza is essentially the celebration Mexico has to celebrate Christopher Columbus’ discovery of the Americas. The performance was followed by lunch, and the first 200 people in line were given a free burrito with their choice of meat.
