Why your workout is not effective

Today in America a third of the of the adult population are obese according to a statistic collected by the CDC. This results in related issues such as heart disease, stroke, and Type 2 diabetes that can cause preventable death.

All Americans, regardless if their obese or not, should watch what they eat, schedule a plan, and lastly exercise. All of these tasks form a workout plan that needs to be routinely executed everyday in order to lose weight. The main thing to focus on when you want to get results is your diet.

“It depends on the diet plan that you found and you’re following it” said Marco Magallon

But it seems people follow workout plans that aren’t going to get the results. Such as having a diet plan that follows only a few foods or groups. To fasting and constructing a low-calorie diet such as vegan diets and the list goes on that are full of bad plans. It seems people don’t conduct the research in the diet they find and follow.

“The lack of knowledge for the diet plan is disastrous towards the fitness goal they’re trying to achieve” said Magallon.

Another thing to consider when you continue your path to lose weight is to make sure you find a workout plan that best suits you. Followed by making sure you can execute your workout plan consecutively. With all this incorporated making sure you prioritize your health will get you the body you want and feel good.

“Prioritizing your health rakes real commitment” said Amber Steele, Assistant Dance Professor.

Also another reason why people are having a difficult time losing weight, or getting the results they need is the lack of a good mindset. You have to be able to visualize the new you, define your motivation, celebrate every achievement and the list goes on. Acknowledging what gets you going to head into the right direction to work out plan that works resulting in the best results.

You can do all the push-ups in the world but if you can’t find the motivation to progress yourself you’re bound to drop your workout plan all together” said Thuy Hoang.

The bottom line is people regardless if they want to drop some pounds, adopt a new healthy style, or even get your abs with the “v-cuts” you need a workout plan. A workout plan that you know that you can do until you produce the results and hopefully if more people adopt a workout plan we can transition towards a healthier tomorrow.
