Free Microsoft Office available to Skyline students

Communities in Schools, COMPAREX, and Microsoft have reached an agreement in which they will collaborate to provide Office 365 to more then a million Communities in Schools students across 26 states and Washington D.C. at home for no cost.

The partnership will give students access to Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, Publisher, Access, Lync and plus OneDrive, allowing students at qualifying schools to download the Office 365 education suite for free.

Skyline students can access the free download here by entering their SMCCD email addresses, and may use the program on up to five devices.

Office 365 is a subscription-based service that offers users cloud storage, allowing them to work from any location. Files may be stored either on the cloud or locally on students’ personal computers and other devices.
