In the world of foolish mortals, there are two men that who the cake. Their names are Moonie and Broon, two performers whose show mixes improvisation, vaudevillian stunts, bizarre songs, and a whole lot of mayhem on stage, some of it planned, while most of it not.
Artist: Planes Mistaken For Stars Album: Up In Them Guts Genre: Metal Album Highlights: To All Mothers Planes Mistaken For Stars, a "prog" metal outfit based in Jacksonville, FL, recently released their fourth full length record, "Up In Them Guts." This album, though predominately fast, distorted, and a general "scream-fest," shows the band taking some impressive steps forward in their musical theory.
In the likes of The Ramones and The Sex Pistols, the band The Dead Milkmen bring it and bring it hard with scrappy vocals, simplistic guitar, and popping drum beats. This band is sure to catch your ear because you will either love them or hate them. Personally, I love them.
