First-year head coach Justin Piergrossi has a young basketball team full of players that have never once played college basketball. Every player on the team is a freshman. On the 18-man roster, 16 of them are from the Bay Area and two are from overseas, Switzerland and Yugoslavia.
"Terrell Owens hands down. He can catch, he is physical, he's got the speed. He can entertain. He'll talk a lot of trash and back it up" "Jerry Porter. He is a good catcher. He just needs a better quarterback and he will be a better wide receiver." "Randy Moss because he was always the best and he kicks ass.
This 18-year-old volleyball player from CSM is a consistently good player and team leader. Coach Jan Fosberg is very pleased with Grossman's reliability. "Hayley is our most consistent hitter and the team depends on her to lead the way," Fosberg said.
