Skyline put another win under the drawstrings of their shorts on Sept. 17 with a 2-1 win over Ohlone College, making their record 5-2-2, but after the game, there was no victory dance, no back flips of joy. In fact, no one seemed pleased at all-except, perhaps, the Ohlone team who was happy to go home.

In his first college wrestling match for Skyline College, 18-year-old Jean Leazard came out, went right after his opponent and took him down. This Floridian native has been wrestling since 9th grade and has placed in state twice in high school. Two-time district champ and two time regional champ.
