Sometimes you just have to accept the unexpected. For instance, who could have predicted the outcome of the poll that was conducted last semester on this newspaper's website, http://www.TheSkylineView.com? Are our local students out to suppress the sexual revolution? If numbers don't lie, it seems as if they are.
Where there once hung one of the world's most valuable pieces of impressionist art, now dangle broken cords. The Munch Museum Oslo, Norway was the home of a painting that school children around the world have seen, one you have probably seen at least once before in a car commercial that was popular a few years ago, and one that definitely inspires me.
It's another fall semester here at Skyline. Classes are starting, students are buying books, and a presidential election is right around the corner. In these pressing times, we, the staff of The Skyline View, feel it is utterly important that students, staff and faculty alike seize the opportunity to vote.
To begin, I would like to say hello to my brothers and sisters who share in my love of senseless and jolly complaint making. And secondly, I would like to mention parking. Now, all things considered, I believe it would be a fair statement to say that the parking situation at Skyline College has been less than optimal over the years.
