Are we the world's bully?

Outside the United States, are we really a great nation?

We all know that America is the place to be. A country that for now is the leader of the free world. A country that many believe represents freedom from tyranny, and the rights of liberty and the guarantee of justice that is given to all of those who are lucky enough to find themselves in this great land of ours But is this image correct or do we live with this false image of our great country of ours? We would like to think that this country represents the values and convictions of the American people, but in essence the rest of the global community, I believe, thinks differently.

Skyline slams De Anza in a grand fashion

The Skyline Trojans baseball team behind two grand slams in one inning out slugged De Anza 9-5 (2-1) 15-10 on Mar. 9.        This feat has happened six times in the majors and 12 times in college baseball. Trojan batters Will Vogl and Steve Dorst both hit grand slam homeruns in a 10 run sixth inning after trailing 9-5 heading into the sixth inning.

The Skyline Trojans baseball team was victorious over Hartnell College 11-9 March 16 on a three-run homerun off the bat of Trojans left fielder Aaron Davis. Entering the bottom of the eighth inning Skyline was trailing 9-8 and the rally started off when Trojans second baseman Greg Lehane hit a single then reached second base when leadoff hitter Brandon Ramsey grounded out to the first baseman, Will Vogl was intentionally walked.

Skyline beats the birdie past Mission College

Ladies badminton cleans up to get the season off to a 1-0 start

The Skyline Badminton team had their first contest of the season against Mission College on March 16. In the opening singles round, Skyline's number-two competitor Celine Sin played Mission's number-one competitor Thu Do. Sin ended up losing in three sets 6-11, 11-0, 11-0.
