Colleges hitting crisis point

Numbering over 8,000 strong, on March 15 students from all across California made their voices of protest heard. They protested fee increases, further budget cuts, and most importantly, the death of an institution that would help lead them to a fulfilled life and not a dead-end job.

As we all know the March on Sacramento, held on March 15, protested the tuition increase of which our school is currently in the line of fire. Now at first hearing it seems as if there isn't much to talk about that you haven't already heard. That, of course, is incorrect.

Years ago, the people living in this great land of ours decided enough was enough, so they overthrew the current government and started their own. What would possess a people to do this? For our founding fathers, an authority figure's disregard for the will of the people was enough incentive to start a revolution.
