If you've ever had plans to move to San Francisco, Berkeley, or Los Angeles you may not be able to unless you enjoy living in a tent under an overpass.

It seems to me that most believe that the people who represent them at the various educational board meetings and who sponsor the events on campus don't really do anything important.

Right now, if one student pulls a 91% in a class, his/her grade will read "A." If someone in the same class worked their way to a 98%, their grade will read the same way. There is a significant grade difference between the two students' grades, yet on paper they're exactly the same.

Creating a play based on forbidden love is something that any school with an acting class can come up with, but to turn that "Romeo and Juliet" formula and add time travel, elements of family, settings based on historical facts, modern life references, traditional Filipino dances, all tied together into a cultural learning experience is something unique to Skyline College's English 104 AK, the Applied English Skills for Cultural Production class.

The word of the week is Jingoism.
Jingoism is a term used to describe extreme nationalism and favor towards ones own country. It is usually used to describe a foreign policy which is extremely combative. The term was coined in 1878 in England according to encyclopedia Britannica.

As Harold is putting socks into his suitcase, Kumar is in his room masturbating until he ejaculates all over.

While most of the jokes in the movie were not that sick, that moment in the second scene of the movie set the tone. Harold and Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay is a gratuitous mixture of drugs, sex, violence and all other things naughty that leaves you breathless and crying tears of laughter on the floor of the movie theater.

A few months ago, a new Roots track leaked onto the internet. "Birthday Girl," featuring Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy, was initially confirmed as the first single from the album, and was disappointing to many Roots fans because of its strong pop overtones.

The Skyline College Runners Club is preparing for the annual ING Bay to Breakers race that will take place on Sat. May 18, 2008.
The Bay to Breakers race was started in 1912 after the devastating earthquake that nearly destroyed San Francisco in 1906. It was started to bring the morale of the people living in the city back, and has since become an annual event, according to ingbaytobreakers.
